TERMS OF BUSINESS
These are the terms and conditions which you agree to by taking part in personal training sessions with ARBoxFit.
Definitions
‘Client’ means someone seeking to purchase and use ARBoxFit personal training services.
‘Sessions’ mean all workouts and training options available for purchase with ARBoxFit. This includes personal training, single sessions, monthly options, and block bookings.
‘Declaration’ means the waiver which all applicants must sign before participating in any activities with ARBoxFit.
‘Personal details’ means the information that must be provided upon registering with ARBoxFit. This includes name, address, telephone number, email address and emergency contact details.
‘Registration’ means an client who has successfully signed up to purchase and use ARBoxFit’s personal training services.

2. Contacting You
Unless otherwise provided for in these terms and conditions, if ARBoxFit has to contact you it will do so by telephone, email or post at the contact telephone number, email address and postal address you provide to us.
3. Health and Safety
Health and Safety is very important to ARBoxFit. Therefore, all clients must confirm that they have read and understood the following declaration before undertaking any sessions with ARBoxFit.
Declaration

In consideration of being allowed to participate in sessions with ARBoxFit (in the gym, outdoors or at home), I acknowledge that:

I am aware of and understand the potential risks and dangers associated with physical activity including the use of equipment and I am voluntarily participating in these activities with knowledge of the risks and dangers involved.

I understand that exercise and fitness activities involve a risk of injury, and that I am voluntarily participating in these activities, and using equipment and facilities with knowledge of the dangers involved. I hereby agree and expressly assume all and any risks of injury, illness or death.

I know of no reason why I should not participate in any of the sessions with ARBoxFit. To the best of my knowledge and belief, I am in good health and not knowingly incapable of engaging in either active or passive exercise and that such exercise would not be detrimental to my health, safety, comfort, wellbeing or physical condition. I agree to inform ARBoxFit and where appropriate provide written consent from my doctor should such a condition or complaI know of no reason why I should not participate in any of the sessions with ARBoxFit. I agree to abide by all verbal notices regarding safety whilst training with ARBoxFit. I am aware I have the opportunity to ask questions about the activities, general use of equipment and other related issues during my sessions. If I choose not to take the advice or to disregard any advice given, I do so voluntarily and accept liability for all resulting injuries, illness, or damage.

I do hereby waive, release and discharge ARBoxFit from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries, illness, or damages resulting from my participation in any activities or my use of equipment or facilities in the above mentioned activities.
If in any doubt, please seek your doctor’s advice about your suitability to participate in progressive and unrestricted physical activity.
ARBoxfit Promise
Whilst it is your responsibility look after your health and wellbeing ARBoxFit:

Is qualified to fitness industry standards

Holds and maintains full indemnity and liability insurance

Is DBS checked

Keep confidential any information that you provide regarding your health
Finally, whilst respecting your decision over your training regime, I reserve the right to ask you not to exercise beyond what I reasonably believe to be your personal ability.
4. ARBoxFit Registration
No person may participate in sessions with ARBoxFit unless he or she has registered with ARBoxFit.
All clients must ensure that they complete and maintain their personal details with ARBoxFit. This includes as a minimum, full name, telephone number, address, email address and emergency contact details.
Children and young persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted to participate in any sessions with ARBoxFit without parental consent and a signed waiver.
ARBoxFit may require proof of age from any applicant or minor they sign up to take part in workouts.
ARBoxFit may at any time require any person who has attained the age of 16 years but who is under the age of 18 years to produce a written parental consent.
ARBoxFit can at any time request further information from a client with respect to his or her personal details or physical or mental health or wellbeing.
ARBoxfit may refuse or cancel sessions if there is reason to believe:
(a) the applicant is under the age of 18 years old, but has not provided proof of ID or produced the requested parental consent; or
(b) has not properly completed their personal details, or if any of its content has or may have changed, or may be incorrect or inaccurate; or
(d) has not acknowledged or signed the declaration, or any of its content may have changed or may be incorrect; or
(e) the registration of that person, or the participation of that person in any ARBoxFit activity, would or could prejudice or harm ARBoxFit or its business or affairs or any of its other clients, workers, contractors, agents or representatives.
If ARBoxFit refuses an application for registration, it will as soon as practicable notify the client of the refusal and the reason for it. There is no right of appeal against a refusal, but a refusal does not prevent further applications for ARBoxFit registration.
Following notification of the refusal, any contract between ARBoxFit and the applicant shall terminate, save that any provision of these terms and conditions that expressly or by implication is intended to come into or continue in force on or after termination shall remain in full force and effect.
5. Purchasing ARBoxFit’s Services
In the advertising and marketing material any images relating to a session are for illustrative purposes only. ARBoxFit may from time to time offer options on certain terms to certain groups, and may offer special introductory offers to new clients, which for the avoidance of doubt may not be available to existing clients or clients who for whatever reason have at any time cancelled their registration and re-registered with ARBoxFit.
From time to time ARBoxFit may need to make minor changes to session options or packages to reflect changes in law and to implement improvements to session content.
Purchases of sessions, including monthly options and block bookings may be made online through the ARBoxFit website or in person, and must be paid for in full by cash, or a credit or debit card.
Once a purchase has been made by a client using a credit or debit card, ARBoxFit will record and keep the details of that card for use in future purchases. If the client does not wish for such details to be recorded and kept in this way, or wishes to make a particular purchase using a different credit or debit card or cash, he or she must notify ARBoxFit of this fact at the time of purchase.
6. Refunds
ARBoxFit does not offer full or partial refunds for sessions, monthly subscriptions, or block bookings which have been used or started, unless in exceptional circumstances where this has been agreed in writing.
7. Cancellations
For reasons beyond its control, such as injury or illness, ARBoxfit may need to cancel a class that a client is due to attend. ARBoxfit will notify clients’ of the cancellation via email or message, and that session will be rescheduled at a time convenient to the client.
Monthly Options
30 days notice is required to cancel your monthly subscription, any sessions not taken during the 30 day notice period cannot be refunded.
If you cancel more than 24 hours’ before a session, known as an ‘early cancel’, ARBoxfit will reschedule the session with you.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your session, known as a ‘late cancel’, that session cannot be rescheduled and will be counted as a session taken.
Where monthly allocated sessions have not been taken, these cannot be rolled forward to the next month, unless a reschedule was agreed by email or message
Block Bookings
All block booking packages are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase.
If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice of your single session, known as an ‘early cancel’, ARBoxfit will reschedule the session with you
If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice of your session, that session cannot be rescheduled and will be deducted from the total sessions available
Single Sessions
If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice of your single session, known as an ‘early cancel’, ARBoxfit will not charge you for your session.
8. Participation in ARBoxFit Workouts
Clients due to participate in a workout must arrive at the scheduled venue in good time and be present not later than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Where a client has not signed up to a package which includes a set of FREE boxing gloves, ARBoxFit will loan boxing gloves and hand wraps for clients to use during their sessions until a client is ready to purchase their own.
Clients must ensure that he or she wears clothing and footwear suitable for the workout session in which he or she is participating. If ARBoxFit has reason to believe that any item of clothing, footwear, jewellery or other accessory is a safety issue, the client will be required to change or remove such item. If the client fails to comply with such a requirement the trainer may require the client to stop all further participation or limit or restrict any further participation as the trainer considers necessary to protect the health and safety of the client. If further participation is stopped or limited or restricted, the client will not be entitled to any refund of any of the cost of the workout, or any other compensation.
If at any time during participation in a session a client suffers any injury or illness (however minor), the client must immediately disclose this fact to the trainer. Thereafter the client shall provide such further information relating to the injury or illness as the trainer may reasonably request. If the trainer has reason to believe that the client has any injury or illness which with any further participation would or could be a risk to the health and safety of the client, the trainer may require the client to stop all further participation or limit or restrict any further participation as the trainer considers necessary to avoid such risk.
ARBoxFit takes no responsibility for clients’ personal belongings or effects brought to the workout sessions.
From time to time, ARBoxFit may take photos and video recordings for advertising purposes. If a client does not wish to participate, they should make this known to the trainer.
At all times during participation in a class a client must do all such acts and things, and comply with all such directions and instructions, which the trainer considers necessary to protect the health and safety of the client.
